The four "Shoulder Normalization Tests" were found previously to be a parsimonious set of isometric tests that produce maximal voluntary isometric contractions (MVIC) in the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, trapezius, serratus anterior, deltoid, latissimus dorsi, and pectoralis major [Boettcher et al.
